Minnesota Amber Alert: Harlen Hulbert abducted from Minneapolis

UPDATE: The child has been found but the suspect is still at large.

A Minnesota Amber Alert has been issued for 2-year-old Harlen Hulbert after he was allegedly abducted from Minneapolis by two men, one of whom stabbed the boy's mother. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.

The abduction happened at about 5:49 a.m. on Tuesday when a woman was allegedly stabbed by her ex-boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend, along with a second man who is believed to be armed with a gun, then fled the scene with the child.

There was no immediate word on the mother's condition.

The main suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Hersel Hulbert, a 26-year-old black male of thin build with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall. He does not have custody of the child. A description for the second suspect was not immediately available.

The men are believed to have taken the child in a silver 1999 Dodge Durango with Minnesota license plate 628MMM.

Anyone who sees Harlen, Hersel, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Minneapolis Police Department at 651-793-7000 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
