Police are asking for the public's help after 15-year-old Ellis Stennett was reported missing from Southwark in central London. The girl was last seen in the Denmark Hill area and her family is concerned for her welfare. (more)

Ellis was last seen by her mother at about 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday in the Denmark Hill area, according to the Metropolitan Police Service. Details about the circumstances of her disappearance have not been released.
Ellis is described as a 15-year-old white female with very long red hair which has been dyed purple at the ends. She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and of slim build. She was last seen wearing black and grey hooded tops, blue jeans and black trainers.
"Her family and officers are concerned for her welfare," the Metropolitan Police Service said in a statement. It added that Ellis is known to frequent the Streatham, Wimbledon and Wandsworth areas.
