Wisconsin Amber Alert: Jaiden Hunt abducted from Marathon County

A Wisconsin Amber Alert has been issued for 8-year-old Jaiden Hunt after he was allegedly abducted from Knowlton in Marathon County, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

Jaiden is believed to have been taken by his father from the Township of Knowlton, but specific details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released. The suspect is believed to be armed.

The father - identified as 34-year-old Jamie Hunt - is believed to have taken the child in a purple 2004 Chrysler Town and Country van. The vehicle has Star Wars Storm Troopers stickers in the driver's side rear window and white paint transfer on the driver's side from the front bumper to the rear door.

Jamie is described as a 34-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a bright blue t-shirt with an image of a game controller and the words "play me."

Jaiden is described as an 8-year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 4 feet tall and weighing 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and silver or white shorts.

Anyone who sees either Jaiden, Jamie, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Marathon County Sheriff's Office at 715-261-1200 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
