              Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter will hold a press conference on Thursday morning to discuss his cancer diagnosis, his office says in a brief media advisory. The press conference is scheduled to take place between 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. ET at The Carter Center in Atlanta. Neither Carter nor his wife, Rosalynn Carter, will be available for one-on-one interviews, the center added. Carter said in a statement last week that his recent liver surgery revealed that he has cancer, and that the disease is now in other parts of his body. The 90-year-old former president is undergoing treatment by physicians at Emory Healthcare.
