The Muscogee County Coroner's Office confirmed at least one person had been killed in Saturday's shooting. It was not immediately clear if anyone else had been hurt or what led to the shooting. It is also unclear if anyone is in custody.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.

Earlier this month, a 16-year-old girl was shot in the back when a group of people got into an argument inside a car at the Peachtree Mall's parking lot. The girl was rushed to hospital and did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
