Shooting outside Walmart in Shawnee, at least 3 victims

Police and other emergency services in Kansas are at the scene of a shooting with multiple victims outside the Walmart near the Mission Parkway in Shawnee, witnesses say. The store is on lockdown but there is NO active shooter. (more)
The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday when gunfire was heard in the parking lot of Walmart at 16100 W 65th Street. Officers rushed to the scene of the shooting and located three gunshot victims.
A video posted on Facebook showed medics tending to two of the victims, and one of them was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition while the third suffered only minor injuries.
No suspect or suspects were immediately taken into custody, but there is no indication of an active shooter-type situation. Police are looking for a red 4-door passenger car, but details about the circumstances of the shooting have not yet been released.
After the shooting, the Walmart store was put on lockdown as a precaution, but police were later allowing customers to leave the store.
