Suspicious package at Douglass Parking Deck at Rutgers University

Police in New Brunswick are investigating a suspicious package that was found at the Douglass Parking Deck at Rutgers University, officials say. Police are also at the New Brunswick train station as a precaution.
The incident began at around 8 a.m. ET on Monday when Rutgers University sent out an alert to students, saying police are investigating a "suspicious package" at the Douglass Parking Deck. People are being asked to avoid the area.
Other details about the suspicious package were not immediately available, but police are also at the New Brunswick train station, Police say the response at the train station is only a precaution, though they have not said why.
It is unknown if there is any link to the bombs that have been found in New York and New Jersey over the past few days. The New Brunswick campus is the oldest campus of Rutgers University.
