The incident began at around 9:30 a.m. ET on Monday when someone reported seeing a vehicle with a driver who looked like Rahami. It prompted a lockdown of the facility and police rushed to the scene, but authorities later said the report was unfounded.

It was not immediately clear whether the report was a hoax or whether the reported person turned out to be someone else, but the lockdown was lifted just after 10:15 a.m. ET and inbound and outbound gates were re-opened for traffic.

There was no immediate information about the incident from academy officials. Rahami is being sought for questioning in connection with the recent bombings in New York City and New Jersey, and he's believed to be driving a 2003 Blue Honda Civic with NJ plate D63EYB.
