Georgia Amber Alert: Faith and Emanuel abducted from Sumter County

A Georgia Amber Alert has been issued for 8-year-old Faith Thornton and 9-year-old Emanuel Thornton after they were allegedly abducted from Sumter County by a 36-year-old woman identified as Lakeisha Lundy. (more)

The children and the suspect were last seen earlier on Tuesday when they were at the Sumter County Recreation Department, but specific details about the abduction were not immediately released. "[The children] are believed to be in extreme danger," the amber alert said.
Lundy is believed to be driving a maroon 2000 Lincoln LS with Georgia license plate RCA9127 and their last known direction of travel was north on Highway 19. It is unknown where they are heading.
Photos of either the suspect or the children were not immediately available, and authorities have not disclosed Lakeisha's relationship - if any - to the victims.
Lakeisha Lundy is described as a 36-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs approximately 180 pounds. Her hair is in a bun and she was last seen wearing a white top, blue jeans and a gold and silver necklace.
Emanuel is described as a 9-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes, is 4 feet 3 inches tall, and weighs 85 pounds. Faith is described as an 8-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes, is 4 feet 3 inches tall, and weighs about 75 pounds.
Anyone who sees either the vehicle, the suspect, or the children is urged to call 911 immediately.
