Texas Amber Alert: Jace Glendenning abducted from Staples

A Texas Amber Alert has been issued for 2-year-old Jace Lane Glendenning after he was allegedly abducted from Staples by a woman identified as Teresa Walker. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The amber alert was issued on early Wednesday evening by the Texas Department of Public Safety at the request of the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office, but specific details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately disclosed.

Investigators believe the suspect and the victim are traveling in a 2016 silver Jeep Compass with Florida license plate CTKP80. It is unknown where Walker might be taking the child, but they were last seen in the city of Staples.

Walker is described as a 30-year-old white female with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans when she was last seen.

Jake is described as a 2-year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a turquoise t-shirt with khaki shorts and black Nike sandals. Deputies have not said whether Jake has any relation to Walker.

Anyone who sees either Jace, Walker or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office at 830-379-1224 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
