Florida Amber Alert: Bane Wheeler abducted from Port Richey

A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for 2-year-old Bane Aaron Wheeler after he was allegedly abducted from Port Richey by a man identified as Daniel Wheeler. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened on Tuesday when Bane was taken from the 9000 block of US Highway 19 in Port Richey, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released.

The suspect, Daniel Wheeler, is described as a 30-year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, khaki shorts, black hat, black shoes and white socks. He has multiple tattoos on his chest, back and arms.

Investigators believe that Bane was taken in a black 2005 Nissan Altima with Tennessee license plate number 9A47V9. It is unknown where Daniel may be taking the child.

Bane is described as a 2-year-old white male with blonde hair and blue eyes, standing 3 feet tall and weighing about 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a black and blue plaid shirt, dark colored pants, and black tennis shoes.

Anyone who sees Bane, Daniel or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at 727-847-5878 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
