"We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes," the couple said in a statement.

Other details were not immediately available and we're working to gather more information.

Speculation began last week when a new ad campaign appeared to show the singer with what appeared to be a baby bump, but the news was not confirmed until Wednesday, when Beyonce and Jay Z released their statement.

Beyonce, one of the most popular singers of all time, married R&B singer Jay Z in 2008 and their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, was born in January 2012.
