Texas Amber Alert: Jax Laymance abducted from Palestine

A Texas Amber Alert has been issued for 8-month-old Jax Dean Laymance after he was allegedly abducted from Palestine in Anderson County, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened on Thursday when Jax was taken from Palestine, but specific details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

"Law enforcement officials believe this child to be in grave or immediate danger," the amber alert said.

The suspects have been identified as 27-year-old Jeremy Dean Laymance and 24-year-old Morgan Lynn Mosely. They are believed to be traveling in a black 2013 Dodge Avenger with Arkansas license plate 535WMB. It is unknown where they may be heading.

Jeremy is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has a scar on his abdomen. Morgan is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds.

Anyone who sees either the victim, the suspects, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at 903-391-7601 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
