The abduction happened on Monday but the exact circumstances are still unclear. Elizabeth is believed to be in the company of 50-year-old Tad Cummins, who Maury County Schools confirms was a teacher at the Culleoka Unit School. He was suspended last month due to an investigation.

It is unclear whether Elizabeth left willingly with Cummins, but the teacher is believed to be armed with two handguns and is driving a Silver Nissan Rogue with Tennessee license plate 976ZPT. They could possibly be in the Decatur, Alabama, area.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Cummins for Sexual Contact with a Minor.

Anyone who sees either Elizabeth, Cummins, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Maury County Sheriff’s Department at 931-375-8654 if you have any other information that could help investigators. You can also call TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
