Walker and the student are believed to have engaged in a consensual sexual relationship between February 1 and April 17, during which they had sex at various locations within Pasco County and Hillsborough County.

Walker is employed at Zephyrhills High School as an instructional assistant for student discipline and the head coach of the girls junior varsity basketball team. The 17-year-old student was the manager for Walker's junior varsity basketball team.

According to a complaint affidavit released by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Walker and the student had sex at his Zephyrhills home on one occasion and engaged in other sexual acts on a second occasion. Details about the alleged sexual activity in Hillsborough County were not immediately released.

Walker has been charged in Pasco County with two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and in Hillsborough County with 6 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

The student positively identified Walker as the person who had sex with her and Walker himself also admitted to having sex with her. "The defendant advised he only had sex with the victim because he thought she was going to blackmail him if he stopped," the affidavit stated.
