Delaware Amber Alert: 2 children abducted from Wilmington

A Delaware Amber Alert has been issued for 2 young children from Wilmington after they were allegedly abducted by their babysitter, 50-year-old Michelle Rogers. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The children were last seen in the 500 block of Sherman Street in Wilmington at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, when they were in the care of their babysitter, who also goes by Shelly. The children were reported missing at 9:43 p.m. on Friday.

Details about the circumstances of their kidnapping were not immediately released, but investigators believe the children could be in imminent danger. It is unknown how Rogers and the children may be traveling.

Rogers is described as a 50-year-old black female who was last seen wearing a white and black shirt, dark jeans, and red sneakers. Zion and Jihad are both black males with black hair and brown eyes. Zion was last seen wearing a Superman shirt and Jihad was wearing Scooby Doo pajama bottoms.

Anyone who sees either the children or Rogers is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Wilmington Police Department at 302-571-4526 if you have any other information that could help investigators find them.
