Georgia Amber Alert: Girl, 14, abducted from Calhoun

A Georgia Amber Alert (Levi's Call) has been issued for 14-year-old Skylee Morgan after she was allegedly abducted and last seen in Calhoun in Gordon County, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

Skylee is believed to have been taken by 21-year-old Emily Sherer, according to the Gordon County Sheriff's Office. She and the suspect were last seen at the Baymont Inn in Calhoun, although details about the circumstances of the abduction have not yet been released.

Sherer is believed to have taken the child in a blue 2017 Subaru Impreza with Arizona license plate CAS2410. It is unknown where they are heading, though investigators believe the vehicle may be heading northbound on I-75.

"The child is believed to be in extreme danger," the amber alert said.

Skylee is described as a 14-year-old white female with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a peach colored hooded jacket, khaki shorts, and sandals.

Sherer is described as a 21-year-old white female with long brown hair and hazel eyes, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds. The nature of Sherer's relationship with Skylee - if any - was also not disclosed.

Photos of either Skylee or Sherer have not yet been released, but anyone who sees them or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately. You can also call the Gordon County Sheriff's Office.if you have any other information that could help investigators.
