The incident happened on Thursday when Stormie was allegedly abducted from Alpine by 20-year-old Andrew Akers, though specific details about the circumstances of her abduction were not immediately released.

Akers is believed to have taken Stormie in a black early 2000s Ford Ranger with unknown license plates. It is unknown where they are traveling to but investigators believe Akers and Stormie may be heading east on Interstate 20.

Stormie is described as a 15-year-old white female with short brown hair and green eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue shorts, and a necklace with a heart and dragon claw.

Akers is a 20-year-old white male but other details about his description were not specified. There was also no immediate word on the nature of his relationship - if any - to Stormie.

Anyone who sees either Stormie, Akers, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Brewster County Sheriff's Office at 432-837-3488 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
