Texas Amber Alert: Shavon, 13, abducted from Lancaster

A Texas Amber Alert has been issued for 13-year-old Shavon Le'Feye Randle after she was allegedly abducted from Lancaster in Dallas County, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday when Shavon was allegedly taken from Lancaster, but specific details were not immediately released. A man later called her parents and threatened to hurt the girl.

Shavon is believed to have been taken in a white 4-door sedan with damage on its rear passenger side panel. Other details, such as a plate number or a description of the suspect, were not immediately released.

Shavon Randle is described as a 13-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds.

Anyone who sees Shavon or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Lancaster Police Department at 972-218-2711 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
