WATCH LIVE: SpaceX rocket carrying satellite launches from Florida

UPDATE: The launch was aborted 9 seconds prior to lift-off. Another attempt is expected tomorrow.

SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Intelsat 35e satellite from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch is expected to take place at about 7:36 p.m. ET. Due to mission requirements, SpaceX will not attempt to land the rocket's first stage.
