The incident happened at about 2:17 p.m. PT on Thursday when a man armed with a gun approached a woman in the Nugget Casino garage. He then demanded the woman's vehicle, in which a 7 or 8-year-old girl was sitting.

"The suspect fled with a young female juvenile," the Nevada Department of Public Safety said in a statement. It added that the stolen vehicle is a maroon 2012 Nissan Altima with Nevada license plate number 92F424.

The vehicle was last seen going northbound on State Route 445.

The suspect is described as a black male who is estimated to be about 28 to 35 years old with short curly hair and a thin mustache, standing 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing baggy jean shorts and a Dallas Cowboy Jersey with a Dallas Cowboy Star on the front and the number 21 on the back.

A photo or the name of the victim has not been released, but she is described as a black female with hair in multiple pig tails and wearing a dark yellow dress. There was no immediate word on the exact circumstances of her abduction.
