Massachusetts Amber Alert: Young boy abducted from Chicopee

A Massachusetts Amber Alert has been issued for 21-month-old Jandel Calcorzi after he was allegedly abducted from his mother's home in Chicopee in Hampden County. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.

The incident happened at about 1:15 a.m. on Sunday when Jandel was allegedly taken from his mother's home following a violent domestic assault. Jandel's father is accused of having taken the child from the home in the 500 block of Springfield Street.

The suspect has been identified as Joshua Calcorzi, a 24-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds. He has full sleeve tattoos on both arms and was last seen wearing a black tank top and dark basketball shorts.

Jandel is described as a 21-month-old white male with long blonde hair and blue eyes, standing 2 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 50 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and diaper, according to state police.

Joshua is from Pennsylvania though it's unknown how he is traveling or where he might be taking the child.

Anyone who sees either Jandel or Joshua is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Chicopee Police Department at 413-594-1731 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
