The victims - who have been identified as 16-year-old Parvati Harnesberry, 11-year-old Malchiyah Harnesberry, and 14-year-old Ramachandra Harnesberry - were allegedly taken from the residence of their grandmother, Danese Harnesberry, who has full legal custody of the children.

The suspect, 33-year-old Bedajii Harnesberry, is the mother of the children and had been staying with the family since the 4th of July. The abduction happened at about 10:40 a.m. on Monday following an argument between Danese and Bedajii, after which Danese briefly went to a neighbor and Bedajii allegedly took the children.

When Danese was walking back to her residence she saw her granddaughter Parvati get into her daughter's vehicle, after which Danese jumped into her own vehicle in an attempt to block Bedajii from leaving. Bedajii then struck Danese's vehicle, causing minor damage, after which she was able to leave.

"Upon returning to the residence Danese found several chemicals and measuring glasses on the kitchen counter. A check of the those ingredients was found to be common ingredients used in making chloroform," the Pima County Sheriff''s Office said, raising concerns that Bedajii may have used the substance to take the children against their will.

Bedajii is believed to have taken the children in a green/tan 2003 Ford Taurus station wagon with a temporary, paper license plate from New Mexico. Investigators believe that Bedajii may be heading towards Santa Fe County.

Bedajii is described as a 33-year-old African American female with short black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.

Anyone who sees either Bedajii, any of the children, or the suspect vehicle, is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Pima County Sheriff's Office at 520-351-4900 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
