Florida Amber Alert: Brianna Brown missing from Broward County

A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for 9-year-old Brianna Brown after she was allegedly abducted from Hallandale Beach in Broward County. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened on Saturday when Brianna was allegedly taken from the 800 block of NW 1st Avenue in Hallandale Beach, though specific details about the circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released.

The suspect has been identified as Daurianne Brown, who is described as a 32-year-old black female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing black or gray pants, a black shirt, a gold headband, and carrying a purse.

Brianna is described as a 9-year-old black female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 75 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white dress and a white sweater, according to the Hallandale Beach Police Department.

Photos of either Brianna or Daurianne were not immediately available.

Anyone who sees Brianna or Daurianne is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Hallanda Beach Police Department at 954-536-2585 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.
