UPDATE: This live event has ended. The launch and rocket landing were both successful.

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying the FORMOSAT-5 satellite is scheduled to take off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at 11:51 a.m. PT (2:51 p.m. PT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9's first stage will attempt to land on the "Just Read the Instructions" in the Pacific Ocean. The satellite will be deployed about 11 minutes after launch.
