Nebraska Amber Alert: 4 children abducted from Omaha

A Nebraska Amber Alert has been issued for 4 children after they were allegedly abducted from Omaha by their non-custodial parents, local police say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened at about 9:36 p.m. on Thursday when the guardian of the children informed police that the children's biological parents had come to the home of a relative where they were visiting and took the children out of her vehicle.

The children were last seen leaving the area near 37th and F street in a white, 4-door Chevy Cavalier with no license plates, according to the Omaha Police Department. The vehicle has rust on the driver's side wheel well and a dent on the driver's side of the trunk.

The victims have been identified as 13-year-old twins Michael Brummett and Mickayla Brummett, 12-year-old Kaleb Brummett, and 7-year-old Miley Brummett. The suspects have been identified as 47-year-old Michael Brummett and 34-year-old Brenda Brummett.

Photos or descriptions of the suspects were not immediately released.

Anyone who sees either the children, the suspects, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Omaha Police Department if you have any other information that could help investigators.
