Arkansas Amber Alert: Young girl abducted from Lonoke

An Arkansas Amber Alert has been issued for 7-year-old Victoria Rovnaghi after she was allegedly abducted from the city of Lonoke, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened at about 12:05 p.m. on Friday when Victoria was taken from the Lonoke area, but specific details about the exact circumstances of her abduction were not immediately released by the Lonoke Police Department.

The suspect has been identified as Leah Rovnaghi, although the specific nature of her relationship to VIctoria was not disclosed. She is believed to have taken the child in a dark gray Range Rover Evoke with the text "Owens Rental Murphy."

Leah is described as a 34-year-old woman with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall. Victoria is described as a 7-year-old girl with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 4 feet tall and weighing about 65 pounds.

Anyone who sees Victoria, Leah, or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Lonoke Police Department at (501) 676-6953 if you have any other information that could help investigators.
