The incident began on Saturday morning when officers responded to reports of a man who was shooting at his wife in the 600 block of Elm Street, but specific details were not immediately released. It is unclear whether the woman was in fact shot.

Police officers responded to the call, after which two of them were shot. Both officers were said to be conscious and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A third person - a civilian who may be the suspect's wife - has also been shot. Her condition was not immediately known.
