Spanish King Felipe deliver a rare address to the nation on Tuesday, calling Catalonia's independence referendum illegal and undemocratic. He said Catalan separatists have acted irresponsibly by risking the stability of Catalonia and Spain as a whole. He further said the state needed to ensure that the constitutional order and the rule of law is upheld in Catalonia.
