New York Amber Alert: Baby boy abducted from Troy

A New York Amber Alert has been issued for 3-month-old Donavan Bragg after he was allegedly abducted from Troy in Rensselaer County, state officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday when Donavan was allegedly taken from the Spring Avenue area in Troy. Details about the exact circumstances of the abduction were not immediately released.

"Subjects fled the location with the child under circumstances that lead the police to believe that the child is in imminent danger," police said.

The suspects have been identified as 40-year-old Frank Bragg and Amanda Rua. They are believed to have taken the child in a black 4-door sedan Honda Accord with New York license plate number HRU2020. The vehicle was last seen traveling southwest on Spring Avenue.

Frank Bragg is described as a 40-year-old white male with short, brown hair and hazel eyes, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 230 pounds. Rua is a 36-year-old white female with brown hair and hazel eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds.

Photos of the suspects were not immediately released by the New York State Police. Rua was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black leggings, and silver shoes and possibly a jean jacket, according to the amber alert.

Anyone who sees either Donavan, the suspects, or the suspect vehicle, is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Troy City Police Department at (866) N Y S-AMBER if you have any other information that could help investigators.
