WATCH LIVE: SpaceX launches secret U.S. satellite

UPDATE: This live event has ended. The satellite launch was successful, as well as the landing attempt of Falcon 9's rocket booster.

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying a secret U.S. government satellite is scheduled to take off from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida at 8 p.m. ET. Following stage separation, Falcon 9's rocket booster will attempt to land at SpaceX's Landing Zone 1 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
