              A bronze statue of legendary comedian Bill Cosby has been removed from Disney's Hollywood Studios, which is part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, a park spokesman has told the Associated Press. A reason for the removal was not given, but it comes just days after court documents revealed that Cosby testified in 2005 that he had obtained a sedative to give to women he wanted to have sex with.

              The .40-caliber handgun undocumented immigrant Francisco Sanchez, 45, allegedly used in the shooting death of Kathryn Steinle, 32, on a San Francisco pier, may have been stolen from a federal agent, sources close to the investigation have told multiple media outlets Tuesday. The gun, which did not appear to be the agent's official gun, was reportedly stolen in an auto burglary near downtown.

              Legendary comedian Bill Cosby admitted in a 2005 deposition that he obtained a sedative with the intent of giving it to young women he wanted to have sex with, according to court documents obtained by the Associated Press. Cosby admitted under oath at the time that he gave three half-pills of Benadryl to a former Temple University employee who had sued him for sexual abuse. That lawsuit was settled in 2006 for undisclosed terms, but numerous women have come forward over the past year to accuse him of sexual assault.

              The all clear has been given at the Walter Reed Medical Center campus in Bethesda, Maryland, and police have found no evidence to corroborate a report of a gunshot. "Police operations are complete, there is no evidence of a firearm discharge," the Montgomery County Police Department said on its Twitter account. The initial report of a possible gunshot at the complex came in at 10:48 a.m. local time, and it took until 1:30 p.m. to clear the buildings. [statement attached]

              Police are responding to an unconfirmed report of a shot fired at the Walter Reed Medical Center campus in Bethesda, Maryland. The Montgomery County Police Department said the initial report came in at around 10:48 a.m. local time, prompting a shelter-in-place at the facility. "No incident confirmed," the department said on its Twitter feed. Fox 5 Washington is providing live coverage of the event.

              A webmaster has been arrested in China and five websites have been shut down for allegedly publishing pornographic cartoons, the state-run Xinhua news agency is reporting, citing a statement from the National Office Against Pornographic and Illegal Publications. The five websites, including a leading cartoon portal called "Dong Man Zhi Jia" (Home of Cartoons), were fined for an undisclosed amount. The founder of, identified only as Qi, was arrested. Under Chinese law, all forms of pornography are banned.

              David Sweat, whose escape from a New York prison last month led to a massive manhunt, has been discharged from Albany Medical Center and has been transferred to the maximum-security Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus, the state's department of corrections says. He will be medically evaluated at the prison's infirmary for 24 hours before being placed in a single cell, where he will remain on an active suicide watch with 23-hour confinement. Sweat had initially been in a critical condition after being shot by police, but his condition quickly improved. [statement attached]

              Three people - two men and a woman - have been found dead at two houses in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, according to state police spokesman Steve McCausland. The victims are a man and a women in their 70s and a man in his 40s, and all three are believed to be members of the same family.               A Saudi policeman has been killed in an exchange of fire with suspects in the western city of Taif, the state-run SPA news agency is reporting. The incident happened at about 4:30 a.m. this morning when police went to a house in the city's east to arrest a wanted person, after which they came under fire, killing a sergeant. Police returned fire and arrested three suspects. Weapons, computers and flags of the Islamic State (ISIS) group were seized. The report did not clarify whether the suspects are members of ISIS.
