              A 64-year-old man from Manhattan has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of false bomb threats at John F. Kennedy International Airport earlier this month, according to the Queens District Attorney's Office. Philip Ngom has been charged with 11 counts each of first-degree falsely reporting an incident and making a terroristic threat. If convicted, he could face up to 7 years in prison.

              Business magnate Donald Trump is standing by his comments on immigration and says they "happen to be correct," responding to Monday's news that NBC has ended its relationship with the business magnate, who is running for president in next year's election. Guardian U.S. reporter Zach Stafford added that Trump first learned of the news when CNN asked for his comment at a press conference in Chicago.

The news comes after 218,000 people signed a petition calling for NBC to cut its ties with Trump, who earlier this month referred to some Mexicans as "rapists, drug users and criminals."               Alaa Saadeh, 23, of West New York, New Jersey, was arrested early this morning and has been charged with conspiring with other individuals in New Jersey and New York to provide services and personnel to ISIS. He is also charged with aiding and abetting an attempt to provide services and personnel to ISIS and attempting to persuade a witness to lie to the FBI, according to the U.S. Justice Department.               The condition of David Sweat, whose escape from a New York prison earlier this month led to a massive manhunt, has been upgraded from critical to serious, according to Albany Medical Center.
