              Greek banks will remain closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and a daily limit on cash withdrawals will stay at 60 euros, the Reuters news agency reports, citing Louka Katseli, the head of the Greek banking association. Banks had initially been expected to reopen on Tuesday.

              More than 40 civilians have been killed and dozens more have been injured after an apparent Saudi-led airstrike struck a market north of Aden in southwest Yemen, the Houthi-controlled Saba news agency is reporting, citing a local source. The Associated Press, citing unnamed Yemeni officials, said at least 45 civilians had been killed in the airstrike, which happened in the Aden suburb of Fayoush.

              Four banking sources reveal they would issue a new decree extending the bank closures until Friday or next Monday, a senior banker tells Reuters. A new decree would replace the one that expires Monday. A meeting between bankers and the finance minister is set for later today.

              A strong and shallow earthquake measuring 6.2 has struck the Pacific Ocean about 83 kilometers (52 miles) east-northeast of Nuku'alofa, the capital of Tonga, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports. The earthquake, at 1:24 a.m. local time on Tuesday (1224 UTC Monday), struck about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) below the seabed. There was no immediate word on damage or casualties.

              A webmaster has been arrested in China and five websites have been shut down for allegedly publishing pornographic cartoons, the state-run Xinhua news agency is reporting, citing a statement from the National Office Against Pornographic and Illegal Publications. The five websites, including a leading cartoon portal called "Dong Man Zhi Jia" (Home of Cartoons), were fined for an undisclosed amount. The founder of, identified only as Qi, was arrested. Under Chinese law, all forms of pornography are banned.

              At least five people have been killed and several houses have been destroyed after an Iraqi military plane accidentally dropped a bomb on a neighborhood in eastern Baghdad, the Reuters news agency reports. It said the Sukhoi fighter jet was participating in an airstrike campaign against Islamic State (ISIS) militants when one of its bombs failed to release during the mission and instead fell as the plane was returning to base. Residents said seven people were killed, but police only confirmed five deaths.
