              UPDATE: For the second day in a row, the launch was aborted just 9 seconds before lift-off. The reason was not immediately known. A new launch attempt has not yet been scheduled.

SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Intelsat 35e satellite from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch is expected to take place at about 8:35 p.m. ET. Due to mission requirements, SpaceX will not attempt to land the rocket's first stage.

A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for 14-year-old Jessica Matias-Francisco after she was allegedly abducted from Fort Myers by an older teenager, police say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately. (more)

              SpaceX will launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the commercial communications satellite SES-10 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch is scheduled for 6:27 p.m. ET. After the launch and separation, the Falcon 9 will attempt to land.

              UPDATE: This live feed has ended. The launch and landing attempt were carried out successfully.

SpaceX CRS-10 will launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, scheduled for launch at 9:38 a.m. ET, will carry the unmanned Dragon spacecraft into orbit, after which the rocket will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The spacecraft is carrying about 5,500 pounds of equipment, experiments and supplies.
