Tropical Storm Erika could impact Florida next week after it moves through the Caribbean, possibly making landfall over the state's eastern coastline on Monday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) reports. Erika, which has killed at least three people on the island of Dominica, is currently approaching the western side of Puerto Rico with maximum sustained winds near 45 miles (75 kilometers) per hour. The system is expected to move over the Dominican Republic and Inagua island of the Bahamas as it approaches the southeastern coast of Florida, which it could reach as early as Sunday night.
