Two people – identified as Raymond and Sandra Foster – have been found dead at their home on Pembrook Drive in Stony Brook on Long Island. The man is accused of shooting his wife before killing himself.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported at about 6:45 p.m. ET on Sunday when officers from the Suffolk County Police Department were called to a residence located at 6 Pembrook Drive.<\/p>\n
A statement from police explained that a family member of the couple had gone to the home and found their bodies, after which the relative called 911. It was not immediately known when they died.<\/p>\n
“Following an investigation, it was determined Raymond Foster, 79, shot his wife, Sandra, 78, and then shot himself,” police said. “The two were pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.”<\/p>\n
