They were last seen in New York City and anyone with information is urged to call 911.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident happened just after midnight on Friday but specific details about what happened were not immediately released. An <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www-lps.state.nj.us\/NJSP_Amber\/MissingPersonDetail.jsp?mp_id=174011&amp;type=amber\" target=\"_blank\">amber alert<\/a> was sent to residents across New Jersey at 1:35 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suspect has been identified as Junior Nunez, who is described as a 33-year-old black male. He&#8217;s believed to have taken the child in a black 2012 Acura MDX with New Jersey license plate Y78SYU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gerard DeMarco, a local journalist, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/gerardjerrydemarco\/posts\/pfbid0t1LYNRoiEgzyzsjnYhSQANPYv7c2BD9MzdKaQxmx3c1h93DLkUM6PsmFjaeycenRl\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> Nunez also abducted his ex-girlfriend, who is the child&#8217;s mother, though officials have yet to confirm that. DeMarco said Nunez has a criminal history which includes breaking into his ex-girlfriend&#8217;s house and assaulting her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suspect&#8217;s vehicle was seen in New York City on early Friday morning but it&#8217;s unclear if he&#8217;s still there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who sees Zander, Nunez or the suspect vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the New Jersey State Police at 609-963-6900 if you have any other information that could help investigators in their search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This is an amber alert.
