But, as more consumers focus on affordability, transparency, and growing concerns over the environmental and ethical costs of traditional mining, things are expected to shift even more. This is why even major retailers are now promoting lab-grown stones as an ethical alternative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Driving the Change?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s be honest about this: the more affordable price is one of the most compelling reasons shoppers go synthetic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lab-grown diamonds typically cost 30% to 70% less than their natural counterparts, even when they\u2019re visually and chemically identical.
