No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey are having electrical issues. They are losing electrical,\u201d the air traffic control tower told emergency crews preparing for the plane\u2019s arrival, according to recordings obtained by LiveATC.net and cited by <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2025\/09\/03\/us\/regional-jet-emergency-landing\">CNN<\/a>. In a statement, CommuteAir said the landing was \u201cdue [to] a potential maintenance issue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Footage posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/citizen.com\/-OZFxx3xitWKUlAhNvJ8\">Citizen App<\/a> showed the aircraft parked at the gate with black smoke visible, as fire crews and other emergency responders surrounded the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ERJ-145 is a twin-engine regional jet commonly used for short-haul routes in the United States.
