{"id":59016,"date":"2025-09-09T11:34:44","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T15:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bnonews.com\/?p=59016"},"modified":"2025-09-09T11:37:03","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T15:37:03","slug":"swedish-health-minister-elisabet-lann-collapses-at-press-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bnonews.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/swedish-health-minister-elisabet-lann-collapses-at-press-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Swedish Health Minister Elisabet Lann collapses at press conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sweden&#8217;s newly-appointed health minister, Elisabet Lann, passed out and collapsed Tuesday while being introduced at a government press conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lann, from the Christian Democrat party, was flanked by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and other officials when she suddenly fell over, hitting her head on the lectern in the progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Party leader Ebba Busch and other officials quickly stepped in to help the minister, who received medical assistance from security personnel before being led out of the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lann returned to the room a short time later, saying: &#8220;This was not exactly a normal Tuesday, and this is what can happen when you have a blood sugar drop.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was not immediately clear whether Lann required any medical treatment, though she did not appear to be injured. The press conference was canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It looked really bad.
