Former British world boxing champion Ricky Hatton has died at the age of 46, according to his family and officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOfficers were called by a member of the public to attend Bowlacre Road, Hyde, Tameside, at 6:45 a.m. today where they found the body of a 46-year-old man,\u201d Manchester Police said in a statement on Sunday. \u201cThere are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances and the case has been referred to the coroner.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hatton\u2019s younger brother, fellow boxer Matthew Hatton, wrote on social media: \u201cI love you Richard \ud83d\udc99 See you on the other side.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tributes poured in from across the sporting world. Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao, who defeated Hatton in a 2009 bout in Las Vegas, said he was \u201cdeeply saddened\u201d by the news. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
