Regarding his Las Vegas trip, Pritzker described his winnings as a net figure over the course of the visit, without revealing the specific hand that led to his success. He acknowledged that in casinos, it is easy to continue playing until gains are lost, noting that leaving at the right moment was part of his good fortune. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under Pritzker\u2019s leadership, Illinois has seen a significant expansion in gambling. In 2019, he signed legislation that legalised sports betting, authorised the development of six new casinos, and permitted more slot machines in bars and restaurants. These measures were designed to boost state revenue and help fund a $45 billion infrastructure plan aimed at improving transport, education, and public facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As he prepares to campaign for a third term, some are wondering if Pritzker\u2019s ambitions could move past the state level<\/a>, with whispers of a potential 2028 presidential bid.
