Trump told reporters that Bongino had \u201cdid a great job\u201d and suggested he wanted to return to his radio show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to CNN, Bongino\u2019s exit follows internal tensions earlier this year involving the Justice Department\u2019s handling of the aborted release of documents related to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bongino assumed the role of FBI deputy director as part of the Trump administration\u2019s leadership changes at the Justice Department and the bureau.
