Seven people were injured when a vehicle crashed into an occupied church in San Francisco, according to officials. Three of the victims were taken to a hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident occurred at 1:30 p.m. local time on Sunday when emergency crews responded to 551 Nevada Street, located between Ogden and Crescent Avenues in the Bernal Heights neighborhood, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fire crews arrived to find a vehicle inside the structure and evacuated the building as a precaution. The building was identified the Good Hope Baptist Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seven patients were evaluated at the scene for what appeared to be minor injuries, according<\/a> to the fire department. Three of them were transported to a hospital for further treatment, while the others were released at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The crash appears to be an “unintentional incident” as the driver of the car is associated with the address, fire officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Crews evacuated the structure and requested the Department of Building and Inspection to assess the damage.
