Police said the vehicle involved was a black Suzuki Swift.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAll seven victims were taken to the hospital, and police said none of the injuries were considered life-threatening. Authorities said some of the victims were seriously hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said a 36-year-old man, originally from India and living in the United Kingdom for a number of years, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Derbyshire detectives are leading the investigation with support from Counter Terrorism Policing, which authorities said is common in an incident of this kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said they are keeping an open mind about the motive. They said the involvement of counterterrorism officers does not mean the case is being treated as terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
