The incident happened shortly after Delta Flight 104 departed S\u00e3o Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport for Atlanta on Saturday, when the aircraft\u2019s left engine began sparking and caught fire, according to Flightradar24<\/a> and footage from the airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The plane stayed airborne for about 10 minutes before returning safely to the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Footage also appeared to show burning debris falling from the plane onto the airfield, where a small fire broke out next to the runway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Flightradar24 data, the aircraft was an Airbus A330-323 with registration N813NW.
