The establishment did not have an operating license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities said preliminary evidence pointed to a possible gun fight between armed individuals inside the establishment, though investigators were still working to determine exactly what happened and who was responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dead included seven men and one woman. Local media reported that several other people were injured, but authorities have not released an official count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Nueva Familia Michoacana, which was designated a terrorist organization by the Trump administration, has a known presence in this area of Morelos.
