The bus went off the road, crossed a pedestrian and bicycle path and slammed through the glass front and main entrance of a Billa Plus supermarket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bus crashed into the ground-floor lobby area of the supermarket building, which also houses other offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 55-year-old man from Salzburg was struck and killed at the scene. Two other men were seriously injured and taken to Salzburg University Hospital, while five more people suffered minor injuries, according to Der Standard, citing the Red Cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.derstandard.at\/story\/3000000317344\/bus-krachte-in-salzburg-in-supermarkt-eine-toter-viele-verletzte?ref=seite1_entdecken\">Der Standard<\/a> reported that the 59-year-old driver was among the seriously injured and suffered a medical emergency that led to the crash.
