Radar tracked the drone to the southern part of Gala\u021bi, where it crashed onto the roof of a residential block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gala\u021bi is a city on the Danube River near Romania\u2019s borders with Ukraine and Moldova. Emergency crews, police, intelligence officers and other response teams were sent to the scene after the impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viata-libera.ro\/prima-pagina\/261336-alerta-maxima-in-galati-o-drona-a-cazut-pe-un-bloc-din-mazepa?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAYnJpZBExSjlFbU51cUpXT2g2YW1ZYnNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR59YYLdP7cyPh3lXGFpUMr6TwPAlNBqVFlfgpTgUgMxN3JVnrb3ZLbiB8olMg_aem_YWdncwC6jBiTAhbmlHrZ_hAxH9uX&amp;brid=YWdncwHudq8dDX7enZdODkeMo_1s\">Via\u021ba liber\u0103<\/a> reported that SAJ Gala\u021bi, the county ambulance service, confirmed two people needed medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Footage from the scene showed damage to the upper part of the apartment building, with debris visible near the impact area. The Defense Ministry said the impact was followed by a fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romanian military radars had detected drones flying near the country\u2019s airspace during the Russian attack.
